SINO-EUROPEAN VET COOPERATION

Connect Your Expertise
with China

We invite European vocational colleges, universities of applied sciences and specialist training providers to develop academic partnerships with Chinese institutions. EU–China Skills leads European partner development and coordinates cooperation with the Chinese coordinating office—from curricula and faculty training to teaching in China and qualification-bearing programmes where authorised.

Programme Partnerships · Teaching in China · Faculty Training

Degree partnerships require an appropriately authorised awarding institution, agreed academic standards and the applicable approvals. Institutions without awarding powers can explore curriculum and non-degree training cooperation.

International cooperation and academic leads are welcome to contact our secretariat to explore suitable areas of collaboration.

INVITATION TO EUROPEAN INSTITUTIONS

Teaching in China & Award of Degrees

EU–China Skills leads European partner development and coordinates discussions with the Chinese coordinating office and participating institutions.

Curricula & Teaching in China

We seek institutions willing to contribute established subject curricula and deploy suitably qualified faculty to teach in China. Teaching capacity, staff availability, delivery schedules and quality oversight are explored with institutional and academic leads.

Degree-Awarding Capacity

For qualification-bearing projects, the proposed awarding institution must be willing and authorised to confer the relevant award under the applicable arrangements. Admissions, registration, assessment, award standards and required approvals are agreed before implementation. Training providers without awarding powers may contribute to suitable non-degree activities.

Value for European Partners

Develop sustained academic relationships in China, reach prospective student communities and explore further study pathways where appropriate. Project-specific financial arrangements are discussed privately alongside delivery commitments; no enrolment volumes, income or ranking outcomes are guaranteed.

THE PLATFORM’S ROLE

We translate institutional cooperation objectives into an agreed implementation plan, defining partner institutions, curriculum alignment, faculty provision and delivery timescales.

CORE AREAS OF COOPERATION

Joint Programme Development and Faculty Training

Institutions may pursue either strand independently or develop both within a coordinated programme.

ILLUSTRATIVE CASE · CNC MACHINE TOOL MAINTENANCE

From a Single Discipline to a Comprehensive Cooperation Plan

This illustrative case explains the approach; institutions, equipment and curriculum are subject to mutual confirmation.

01

Institutional Needs

Your machine tool maintenance department wants teaching resources on CNC fault diagnosis, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and practical training in Europe.

02

Platform Coordination

The platform reviews existing curricula, equipment and faculty experience, selects relevant European institutions and training providers, verifies delivery conditions and coordinates technical discussions between the institutions.

03

Cooperation Outcomes

Programme development establishes curriculum resources, responsibilities and implementation milestones. Faculty training defines practical tasks, the training schedule, fees and outcomes, such as a fault-diagnosis teaching unit and a workshop improvement plan.

OUR APPROACH

Four Stages from Objectives to Implementation

We coordinate and manage the process. Academic and teaching matters remain under the joint leadership of partner institutions.

01

Needs Assessment

Assess disciplines, curriculum, participant numbers, duration and budget to establish a requirements brief.

02

Partner Matching

Select European institutions by subject alignment and delivery capacity, and convene initial institutional discussions.

03

Joint Planning

Agree curriculum, staffing, costs, responsibilities and milestones.

04

Implementation Support

Coordinate delivery against milestones, with stage reviews and continuous improvement.

Institutional requirements and contact details are used only for cooperation assessment and communication, and are not published. Prior institutional consent is obtained before sharing with prospective partners.

INSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION

Institution-led Partnerships for the Long Term

Institutional representatives are welcome to contact us about programme development and faculty learning. We convene discussions around shared academic objectives and develop projects suited to the participating institutions.
