EU–China Skills leads European partner development and coordinates discussions with the Chinese coordinating office and participating institutions.
Curricula & Teaching in China
We seek institutions willing to contribute established subject curricula and deploy suitably qualified faculty to teach in China. Teaching capacity, staff availability, delivery schedules and quality oversight are explored with institutional and academic leads.
Degree-Awarding Capacity
For qualification-bearing projects, the proposed awarding institution must be willing and authorised to confer the relevant award under the applicable arrangements. Admissions, registration, assessment, award standards and required approvals are agreed before implementation. Training providers without awarding powers may contribute to suitable non-degree activities.
Value for European Partners
Develop sustained academic relationships in China, reach prospective student communities and explore further study pathways where appropriate. Project-specific financial arrangements are discussed privately alongside delivery commitments; no enrolment volumes, income or ranking outcomes are guaranteed.
For a proposed qualification-bearing programme in China, partners must assess institutional and subject-level authority, awarding arrangements, curriculum, teaching commitments and applicable approval requirements before proceeding. An introductory discussion is not project approval.
Curriculum Cooperation
Curriculum and practical-learning partnerships can be explored separately. Their scope and outcomes must be clear; they do not automatically constitute an approved joint education or degree programme.
Faculty Development
Faculty training is a distinct pathway, designed around professional learning outcomes and hosting capacity. Participation does not itself confer a degree or guarantee recognition of training hours.
Partners retain academic and quality responsibilities. Our secretariat coordinates development and delivery; we do not award qualifications or guarantee approval, enrolment volumes or financial returns. Project-specific materials are shared through designated institutional contacts.
PROGRAMME PARTNERSHIPS
Joint Programme Development
For vocational and applied higher education institutions seeking European curricula, faculty and teaching resources. The platform coordinates partner selection, curriculum alignment and joint planning to establish responsibilities, timescales and delivery conditions.
WHERE COLLABORATION BEGINS
Curriculum Alignment and Shared Teaching Resources
Building on institutional curricula and learning outcomes, the platform coordinates European partner selection and academic discussions to establish curriculum alignment, teaching resources, faculty provision and quality requirements within a clearly allocated implementation plan.
Where a project involves joint education, a foreign award or further study, we coordinate checks on awarding authority, entry criteria, required approvals and institutional responsibilities before these are included in agreements or public materials.
